SALT LAKE CITY — Gloria Burwell, 63, died Dec. 22. Burwell was born July 22, 1945, to Leonard and Virginia Duran. She was raised in West Los Angeles, Calif. Then later followed her children to Utah, where she made her home for eight years. She always had a happy innocent and free spirit. She dedicated her life to raising her children. She is now at home with our Lord, where she will welcome us home to her again one day. Our mother is the strongest person we know. She lived a long life and had the chance to love her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her four sons, Enrique, Shawn, David, and Eric; her five daughters, Virginia, Mona, Luana, Choanta, and Regina. A funeral Mass was celebrated at the Cathedral of the Cathedral of the Madeleine. Committal was in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
