Guests dined and danced under the stars at the Gala Photo 1 of 3
Ross and Terri Jarrett enjoy having their photo taken just like prom night when they were in high school. Their sons Kyle, a senior, and Tyler, a junior are students at Juan Diego Catholic High School.

DRAPER — The red carpet awaited the arrival of guests who experienced "An Evening Under the Stars" at the 6th Annual Juan Diego Gala, April 29.

The tux optional evening was a fun way to relive the memories of a high school prom and help a child at the same time. Proceeds from the Gala benefit Juan Diego Catholic High School.

Juan Diego Principal Dr. Galey Colosimo said the funds raised will help promote academic excellence by providing resources for continued education of the faculty and upgrades in computer technology. Juan Diego is a three-time defending Regional and State Champion in the State Technology Test Out Challenge.

" We also ensure ongoing tuition assistance to guarantee a place for all families who desire a Catholic education for their children," said Colosimo. "I would also like to thank all the sponsors and people who worked countless hours to make the Gala such an enjoyable affair."

The starry decor was not all that glittered. Guests had the opportunity to win a Diana diamond ring, a Gucci ladies watch, a Mont Blanc fountain pen, and a Mont Blanc men’s quartz watch donated by R. Timothy Branscomb, owner of Sierra-West. Guests also had the opportunity to win silent auction items worth $700 or more.
