Helen Marie Thomas

SALT LAKE CITY — Helen Marie Thomas passed away Aug. 3, 2015 of causes incident to age.

Thomas was born in Salt Lake City to Helen Horner and Arthur Blake Thomas. She received her degree in education from the University of Utah and was a member of Pi Beta Phi. She taught at East High School,West High School in Utah and at El Camino High School in South City, Calif. She was a part of the Junior Leagues of Salt Lake City and San Francisco and the Friends of the Marriott Library. She was also a member of the Town Club and St. Ambrose Parish. 

Thomas is survived by her sister, Harriet Lawrence; and her niece Claire and family. 

A memorial Mass was celebrated at St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
