Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery suffered about $10,000 worth of damage from the windstorm that struck Utah on Dec. 1, said John Curtice, the cemetery director. At least 50 gravesites were affected by toppled and uprooted trees. Seven trees will be removed; two others were damaged but may be able to be salvaged, Curtice said. Firewood from the downed trees will be available at the cemetery at no cost, although donations will be accepted to help recoup some of the cleanup costs, which were not covered by insurance. For information, contact Curtice at 801-355-2476.
