SALT LAKE CITY — Ida Politano Cornick, 88, died May 16. Cornick was born to Malcom and Rose Veteri Politano Dec. 6, 1919, in Green River, Utah. She served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. She married Lawrence W. Cornick. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Committal was in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
