WASHINGTON D.C. — James Carter McMinimee, 51, passed away on May 10, 2012.

McMinimee was born in Ames, Iowa. He worked for UDOT, Region 2 director, Olympic operations, and served as director of project development and chief engineer.

McMinimee was preceded in death by an infant son, Patrick.

McMinimee is survived by his wife, Sally; children Connor, Kate and Sean; parents Andy and Sharon; brothers Dan and Tom; and nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church.
