RICHFIELD — James Lee McElfresh, 75, passed away June 16, 2013. McElfresh was born Feb. 23, 1938 in Grand Junction, Colo. to Raymond S. and Edith Egger McElfresh. He married Myrlyn "Lyn" Lucretia Coffey, Nov. 1, 1961, in Montrose, Colo. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of the V.F.W. Sevier Post #5050. He served as a deacon in the Catholic Church for 18 years. McElfresh is survived by his wife, Lyn; children Chris McElfresh, Phillip (Tracy) McElfresh, Jennipher Hulse, daughter-in-law Martha McElfresh, Escondido; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and brothers Bob (Donna) McElfresh and Don (Susan) McElfresh. McElfresh was preceded in death by his parents; son Steve McElfresh and son-in-law Adam Hulse. Cremation services have been held. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church with military rites by the V.F.W.
