SALT LAKE CITY — James Raymond Detrio, 84, passed away Aug. 27, 2011. Detrio was the second son born to Mary Catherine Casey (Mae) and Joseph Anthony Detrio March 25, 1927 in Richmond Hill Long Island, N.Y. Detrio would take a subway into the city to attend church at St. Paul’s Cathedral where he was a alter/choir boy. He wed Maria Anita Gutierrez in Detroit, Mich. and moved soon after to Mexico City, Mexico. Detrio is survived by his four children: Linda Maria Majoris (Joe), Dianne Maria Pavao (Tony), James Casey Detrio, and Dawn Maria Malan (Dave); his grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
