Jennifer Marie Vranizan

PORTLAND, ORE. — Jennifer Marie Vranizan, 49, passed away June 20, 2014. 

Vranizan was born Oct. 9, 1965, in Lincoln, Neb. She had a long, successful career in the financial services industry, ending at John Hancock Financial. She married Tim April 20, 1996. She volunteered countless hours at the children’s school and parish, St. Francis in Sherwood. She led vacation Bible school, taught religious education and was the director of The Friar Trot 5k/10k run. In 2011, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. 

Vranizan is survived by husband Tim; children Abby, Henry and Lily Ann; mother Mary Rotter; father and stepmother Darvin and Patricia Jemming; siblings Kathy Corkery, James Jemming, Teresa Jemming Hartman, Jodie Palmer and Jonny Jemming; father-in-law Ralph Vranizan; sisters-in-law Helena Vranizan Stringer and Anne-Marie Kiriazis; many nieces and nephews; and a countless number of friends. 

She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Emiline Ann Vranizan; and stepfather, James McMillan.

A memorial Mass and celebration of  life was celebrated at Saint Francis Catholic Church.
