Funeral services for John "Jack" Gallivan, 97, who died Oct. 2, follow.

The vigil will be Friday, Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cathedral of the Madeleine; the viewing will begin at 6:30 p.m. Monsignor Terence Moore will preside.

The funeral Mass will be Saturday, Oct. 6, at 11 a.m., also in the cathedral.  Msgr. Moore will be the main celebrant; Deacon Lynn Johnson will be the homilist.
