salt lake city — John L. Johnson, 68, passed away June 25, 2011 . Born to Lenard A. Johnson and Ann M. Pantalone in Copperfield, Utah on Jan. 1, 1943, he graduated from Judge Memorial Catholic High school in 1960. He had a passion for grocery retail and worked for Skaggs Alpha Beta for 32 years. Johnson is survived by his wife, Bonnie E. Johnson, daughter Michelle Romney Halton (Scott), daughter-in-law Jay Johnson and five grandchildren: Clinton (Corrina) Trujillo, Steven Trujillo, Tara Romney, Anna and Rachel Johnson; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathleen Olson; an aunt, Pauline Pantalone; niece Brenda Kell (Travis), stepchildren Lori Lemn, Kris Nielsen and Kevin Nielsen; step- grandchildren Elizabeth, Katelyn, Breanne, Cameron, Brenden, Hallie, and Sydney. Proceeded in death by his parents, sister Connie, daughter Jennifer Ann Johnson and son Brian Mathew Johnson. A funeral Mass was held at Saint Joseph the Worker Catholic Church.
