Johnny Benjamin Ibarra Chavez

SALT LAKE CITY — Johnny Benjamin Ibarra Chavez, 78, passed away July 28, 2012.

Chavez was born Jan. 1, 1934 to Marta and Jesse Ibarra. He was married to Theresa Meira in 1954 and together they had 12 children. They were later divorced.

Chavez is survived by his children, Benjamin, Stephanie, Christina, Bunny, Manuel, Frankie, Rita, Teddy, Lisa, Bambi and Gypsie; 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Chavez was preceded in death by his son Johnny Jr. and his parents.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Patrick Catholic Church.
