SALT LAKE CITY — Joseph Edward Delgado, 66, passed away Oct. 17, 2012. Delgado was born July 2, 1946 to Jose I. and Hortense Delgado. He was in the United States Army and fought for his country during the Vietnam War. He met and married Judith Karen McMillan at Saint Joseph Catholic Church on June 1, 1968. He loved to study Catholicism and serve during Mass at Saint Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church. Delgado is survived by his brothers: Michael Delgado, Tony Delgado, Robert Delgado and David Delgado; sisters Mary Ellen Landers and Anita Lovato; children Kellie Weiss (Dave) and Christopher Delgado; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, sister Donna Irene; brother Michael and nephew Miguel Delgado. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church.
