Joyce Walden, 87, passed away peacefully in her home in Santa Clara, Utah on Feb. 26, 2017, after a short battle with uterine cancer. 

She was born Oct. 10, 1929 to Robert L. Cimini and Margaret Drury Mills in Henderson, Ky. At the age of 20, Joyce married the love of her life, Edward Walden. Joyce and Ed traveled the United States together, accompanying his military career. Together they had four children.  

Joyce is survived by Ed, her husband of 67 years; son Steve (Thayla); daughter Mary; son Tim (Roseli); grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Robertline Hicks; and her daughter, Debbie Johnson.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. George Catholic Church on March 10.
