SALT LAKE CITY — In honor of Mary, Queen of the Holy Rosary, the fourth grade students at Kearns-Saint Ann School held a Rosary March on Oct. 8. The students are learning the mysteries of the rosary and special prayers said on each bead. The students began their march in front of the school, where they prayed for all of God’s people who are north of the school building. They then recited the first decade of the rosary for God’s people west of the school building, and proceeded to do so to the south and east, reciting the remaining decades of the rosary. The children prayed for people all over the world in each of those directions from their school. Story courtesy of Sharon M. Kerikas, fourth grade teacher
