Stations of the Cross — Fridays during Lent at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. 6 p.m. in English, 7 p.m. in Spanish.

Adult Lenten Study of the Gospel of John — Tuesdays through March 26, 6:30-7:30 p.m. at The Madeleine Choir School, 205 E. First Ave., SLC. This six-week discussion of John’s account of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection is led by Dr. Brandon Peterson, assistant professor of religious studies at University of Utah. Lenten Fish Fry — Friday, March 15, 5-7 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Parish’s Holy Family Hall, 1375 E. Spring Lane, Holladay. All are welcome.

Lenten Fish Fry — Friday, March 15, 5-8:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Madeleine’s Scanlan Hall, 309 E. South Temple, SLC. $14 adults; $10 children. All are welcome.

Lenten Fish Fry — Friday, March 22, 5:30-8 p.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3015 E. Creek Rd., Cottonwood Heights. Adults $15; 12 and under $5. Stations of the Cross is at 7 p.m.

Lenten Fish Fry — Friday, March 22, 5-7 p.m. at St. Ann Parish gym, 450 East 2100 South, SLC. Tickets may be purchased in advance from the parish secretary, 801-487-1000; $10/adult and $5/child. Tickets may also be purchased at the door: $12/adult; $7/child. A Kearns-Saint Ann School art show will be on display.

Diocesan Lenten Retreat — “Holy Encounters on the Lenten Journey: Transforming and Renewing the Church,” Saturday, March 23, 9 a.m. to noon in English and 1 to 4 p.m. in Spanish at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1375 E. Spring Lane, Holladay. The presenter for the English session will be Fr. Ray John Marek, OMI; the presenter for the Spanish session will be Fr. Alfredo Basualdo.
