MAGNA — Levi Joseph Trujillo, Sr., 83, died May 1. Trujillo was born Nov. 4, 1924, in Questa, N.M., to Juan Trujillo and Garina Aarellano. He married Rose Romero Feb. 10, 1956, in Taos, N.M. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He had a great love for his family and enjoyed getting together and playing cards. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rose; children, Levi, Jr., Johnny (Maria), Rosalie (Tyler "Rick") Chacon, JoAnn Medina, and Beverly (Raymond) Martinez; siblings, Ernest, Margaret, and Emilinda; 21 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Magna. Committal was in the Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
