SALT LAKE CITY — Louis V. DaRonche, 90, passed away Jan. 3, 2012.

DaRonche was born Aug. 29, 1921 in Ponte Alto Agordo, Italy to Joseph John and Emma Santel DaRonche. He entered the Army in 1943 and jumped into the dark of night with the 101st Airborne on D-Day. He married Mary Angela DaZanche at Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church on Jan. 29, 1949.

DaRonche is survived by his wife; two sons, Ronald E. (Fran) DaRonche and John P. (Shelly) DaRonche; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Therese Catholic Church.
