SALT LAKE CITY — Luigi Notarianni, 75, passed away Feb. 21, 2012. Notarianni was born Feb. 12, 1937 in Pedivigliano, Calabria, Italy to Angelo and Filomena Angotti Notarianni. He became a United States citizen while serving in the U.S. Army, and married Rosalie Asson on June 28, 1985. Notarianni was preceded in death by his parents. Notarianni was a proud member of the Italian American Civic League for over 35 years, most recently serving as Sick Committee chairman. He was a member of the American Legion Post 71. Notarianni is survived by his wife; two sisters, Francesca Notarianni and Giovanna Perri; and three nephews. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
