SALT LAKE CITY — Lupe Manzano, 94, passed away April 18, 2012.

Manzano, was born Oct. 12, 1917 in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco, Mexico. She married Simeon Manzano in 1950.

She was a devout Catholic, and member of Sacred Heart Parish. She prayed the holy Rosary daily to her favorite saint, la Virgen de San Juan.

Manzano was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, two sisters, two sons, a grandson and a granddaughter.

Manzano is survived by her daughter, Martha; sister Alice (Joe) Cavazos; son Mike (Cathy) Manzano; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
