The Madeleine Choir School is an elementary school for children in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade Eight located in the Avenues of downtown Salt Lake City. At the Choir School, the study of traditional subjects like Math, Science, Language Arts and Social Studies is enhanced with coursework in Theology, Music Theory, Latin, Spanish, French, choral singing and violin instruction. Students also enjoy Physical Education, Art and Technology. To better meet the needs of its students, a school day at the Choir School is slightly longer than at other schools; students attend from 8:25 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Class sizes are capped at 25 students.

Every child at the Choir School receives musical and vocal training from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 3. Violin instruction is provided to all students in Grade 2 and 3. After Grade 3, students who have reached a certain level of musical proficiency, interest and stamina are moved into a performing choir. Music education continues for all students through Grade 8.

Students not participating in the choir program attend Collegium Humanitatis, an academic and artistic enrichment course. Small units examine topics in the areas of math and science, language arts and the performing arts.

The Choir School has an active afterschool sports program fielding teams in soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball and lacrosse. Additional activities include Yearbook, Student Leadership Council, Chess and Drama.
