SALT LAKE CITY — The Young Adult Ministry is inviting all married and single young adults to gather at the Bishop’s Residence on May 11 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to pray, socialize and brunch.

"This is an important event because it will be the first opportunity in a while for Catholic young adults throughout our diocese to gather as a community for prayer, a meal and fellowship," said Samantha Almanza, director of the diocesan Youth and Young Adult Ministry.

The event will also give young adults an opportunity to tell the Office of Young Adult Ministry what they are seeking in their spiritual life "so we can develop programs that address those needs," Almanza said.

The event is open to all young adults from 18 to 35 years old.

"It is important for young adults to participate in this type of gathering so that we can continue to build and strengthen our young adult community in Utah," Almanza said. "It is also a great opportunity to meet new friends and grow in faith."

To RSVP or for information, call Samantha Almanza, 801-328-8641 ext. 313, or email Samantha.Almanza@dioslc.org.
