Several of our staff and I had the pleasure of hosting our Mexican consul for dinner at my residence last week. Mrs. Socorro Rovirosa is a distinguished diplomat who has had many postings, especially in Europe. She and her office are a great support to our Mexican immigrants and therefore to many of our parishioners. It was an honor to spend some time with her and I look forward to our ongoing collaboration in the years ahead.
