SALT LAKE CITY — Oliver Robert Meredith IV, 74, passed away March 7, 2013. Meredith was born on Jan. 3, 1939 to Joyce Marie Rogawksy and Oliver Robert Meredith, III. After graduating from Judge Memorial Catholic High School, he attended the University of Utah where he earned both MBA and Doctorate of Law degrees. He was a member of the Air National Guard, a Shriner, and an Eagle Scout. He did volunteer work for the Caring Connection and as a chaplain for the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office. He previously served as a permanent deacon at Saint Catherine of Siena Parish. Meredith is survived by his wife, Joyce Nikolai; sister Dorothy Poulton; two nieces; two grand-nephews and two grand-nieces. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.
