SALT LAKE CITY — Oralia M. Martinez, 86, died on May 7, 2012 from Alzheimer’s disease.

Martinez was born July 6, 1925 in Chama, N.M. to Sara Martinez and Francisco Morales. She married Jose E. Martinez in 1945. She loved cooking breakfast and volunteering for the funeral committee at the church.

Martinez is survived by her sister Josie Gallegos, seven children: June Cruz, Connie Bustillos, Larry (Vickie) Martinez, Priscilla (Javier) Rangel, Rosemarie Martinez, Sara Aguallo and Jackie Martinez; 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
