Christopher Voss, Judge Memorial Class of 2008, recently earned the lead in Chapman University’s winter production of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. The play will run Feb. 17-19, 24-26 at the Waltmar Theatre in Orange, Calif. Our Future Leaders! Dexter Holmquist and Emily Murnin, sophomores from Judge Memorial Catholic High School have been named 2011 HOBY Seminar Ambassadors. Holmquist is a member of St. Ann’s Parish and a graduate of Kearns -Saint Ann School. He is a member of the Judge Memorial student council, boys’ basketball, boys’ lacrosse, and is a recipient of Presidential Service Award. Murnin is a member of The Cathedral of the Madeleine and is a graduate of The Madeleine Choir School. She is a member of the Judge Memorial tennis and swim teams, active in the Judge music program, and serves as a volunteer with The Choir School and the Ronald McDonald House. The Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership program (HOBY) is designed to prepare youth to become effective and ethical leaders. Bernardo Montellano, a prospective seminarian, attended the Diocesan Advent Retreat on Dec. 4. He is one of several prospective seminarians from Mexico who are considering being ordained as priests in the Diocese of Salt Lake City.
