Bringing Home the Gold! Eric Houle, former track and field and cross country coach at Judge Memorial CHS and currently in his 20th season as head track and field and cross country coach at Southern Utah University, earned his 33rd Summit League Coach of the Year award after the Thunderbird men’s team claimed the Summit League Indoor Championship. Sice his arrival at SUU, the Thunderbirds have won 36 conference championships. Bronco’s Champ! Mele Vaisima, Judge Memorial CHS Class of ’07, won the women’s weight throw for Boisie State University at the Mountain West Championship. Skating Smart! Christopher Colling, James Conte, Erik Gronseth, Nicholas Halloran, Nicholas Hallstrom, Jack Maddox and Thomas Maddox, all from the Juan Diego CHS hockey team, were named to the UHSH First Team All-Academic Team. Destined for Sainthood! The Archdiocese of Omaha has opened the sainthood cause for Father Edward Flanagan, founder of Boys Town. The process toward possible canonization could take years to complete. Quest for Grammar!
