Fabre of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New Orleans has been appointed as bishop of Houma-Thibodaux, La.; and Bishop Donald Kettler, of Fairbanks, Alaska, has been appointed to the Diocese of St. Cloud, Minn.
Resigned! Bishop John Kinney, 76, has resigned from the pastoral governance of the Diocese of St. Cloud, Minn.; and Bishop Sam Jacobs, 75, has resigned from the pastoral governance of the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux.
