SALT LAKE CITY — Patricia Helen Miller Olsen died July 31, 2011.

Olsen was born on Aug. 24, 1927 in Lewistown, Mont., to John R. and Anna Miller. She joined the World War II Cadet Nurse Corps and graduated from St. Joseph’s hospital in 1948. She married Edward Benjamin Olsen on May 15, 1951. For many years she worked at Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City.

She is survived by her six children: Daniel Olsen, Cheryl Olsen, Marilyn (Lynn) Whipple, Laurie (Steve) O’Neil, Bryan Olsen and Jill (Roger) Perry, 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were celebrated at Saint Olaf Catholic Church.
