Philip Stephen Kenny

SALT LAKE CITY — Philip Stephen Kenny, 84, passed away Aug. 8, 2012.

Kenny was born Oct. 30, 1927 in Ogden. He served in the US Army’s 11th Airborne Division in Japan. He attended St. Mary’s College and graduated from the University of Utah School of Law. He married Faye Jane Knudson. In retirement he studied Irish history at Trinity College in Dublin.

Kenny was preceded in death by five siblings and his eldest son, P. Stephen.

Kenny is survived by three sons: Timothy (Tracy), Patrick, and Michael (Theresa); daughter Caitlin (Greg) and 11 grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Florence Catholic Church.
