National Ladies of Charity president Lucy Saunders (far right), from Newburg, Md., visits with the Ladies of Charity at Our Lady of Lourdes Chapter Dec. 4 for Mass and a dinner after a day of sightseeing throughout Salt Lake City. Saunders also visited Daughter of Charity Sister Maria Nguyen's Give Me A Chance Center in Ogden and the Ladies of Charity chapter from Saint Olaf Parish in Bountiful during her stay, which was Dec. 1-6. Together the two LOC chapters bought Christmas gifts, socks, hats and gloves for 234 children aged 0-17 in approximately 100 families to whom they deliver a monthly supplemental box of food.
