Radford Sayman III

SAINT GEORGE — Radford Albert "Rad" Sayman III, 74, passed away on Aug. 11, 2013.

Sayman was born on Sept. 16, 1938 in Scranton, Penn., to Radford A. Sayman II and Hannah Haggerty Sayman. He served in the U.S. Navy and was aboard the USS Helena, USS Providence, USS Oklahoma City and the USS Hull. He also served in the U.S. Air Force and did tours in Southeast Asia as well as serving at the U.S. Air Force bases. He retired as a master sergeant at Hill Air Force Base in 1984.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Jean Dowdle Sayman.

Sayman is survived by son James Radford Sayman (Tanjla), four grandchildren, brother Thomas M. Sayman (Vicki), and nephews.

Graveside services were celebrated at the St. George City Cemetery.
