SALT LAKE CITY — Rumelia Mary Gallegos, 84, passed away Oct. 24, 2011. Gallegos was born May 13, 1927 in Cuba, N. M. to Fidelia and Ignacio Arellano. She married Pete P. Gallegos on Sept. 19, 1948. Gallegos is survived by her children: Joe, Mike, Dezi, Lucy, Elaine, Felix, Peter, Dorothy, Janie, David, Barbara, and Randy; 50 grandchildren, 84 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Gallegos was preceded in death by husband Pete; children: Geri, Rudy, Mary and Albert; three grandchildren and six sisters. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
