Saint Francis Xavier Regional School Receives $7,500 Grant From the UPS Foundation

Friday, May. 23, 2008

On May 2, Saint Francis Xavier Regional School was presented a $7,500 check from the UPS Foundation to purchase the Accelerated Math Program.

The Accelerated Math Program will help teachers assess, monitor, and improve math scores in each grade level.

It will help students improve their math skills, build enthusiasm for math, which in turn helps improve their math skills.

The program is able to target the average, gifted, and remedial students because it assesses individual students understanding of math as well as how well the whole class is performing. It benefits students and teachers to better target problem areas.

Saint Francis Xavier Regional School is a pre-k through 8th grade Catholic school.

The school is the only Catholic school on the west side of the Salt Lake Valley and serves approximately 300 students. The school serves a socioeconomic and ethnically diverse population.
