As the 2014-15 school year drew to a close, Saint John the Baptist fifth-grader Christian Kindler was presented with a plaque that recognized his being chosen as the AAA Safety Patroller of the Year for Utah/Nevada Region after he submitted a winning essay that spoke to AAA’s commitment to service and safety. As a result, Saint John the Baptist Elementary School received a check for $2,700 in his honor, and he has been featured in a AAA video that will receive national exposure. The Safety Patrol Program at Saint John the Baptist Elementary fosters responsibility, leadership and communication skills.
