NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Holy Cross Sister Alice Mary Quintana passed away June 18, 2012. Mary Alice Quintana was born in Montpielier, Idaho, to the late Oney and Adeline Sena Quintana. She was in health care ministries as a nurse in hospitals in Idaho, Utah, California and Arizona and often initiated or directed outreach programs to the poor. She was the first executive director of Holy Cross Ministries in Salt Lake City; she also served in Murray’s Community Services from 1994-1998. She is survived by her sisters: Sandra of Wyoming and Shirley, Florence and Pauline, all of California. A funeral Mass was celebrated at the Church of Our Lady of Loretto, Saint Mary’s, Notre Dame, Ind.
