SALT LAKE CITY — Sister Marjorie (Wales) Maddox, 92, passed away Oct. 13, 2012.

Maddox was born in Salt Lake City on March 2, 1920 to Roy Carmean and Manila Miller Wales. She relocated to San Diego, Calif., where she was converted to Catholicism. Later she moved back to Utah and worked for ZCMI’s advertising department until her retirement.

Maddox was preceded in death by her mother, father, sister (Ellen) and sons (Buck and Clay).

A funeral Mass was celebrated at the Cathedral of the Madeleine.
