St. Mary of the Assumption Parish offers new ornament

Friday, Dec. 14, 2007

PARK CITY — If your Christmas tree, like mine, includes ornaments from the St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church collection, you’ll be happy to know the parish and artist Greg Method have released for sale their eighth ornament since 1996.

The Christmas 2007 ornament, designed to mark the 10th anniversary of the dedication of the new St. Mary of the Assumption Church on White Pine Road, depicts a view of the church as seen from the meadow where the dairy barn is located. Kelly Mcgwire, a Park City High School student drew the representation, and Method continues a family tradition by casting the ornaments and offering them for sale.

Funds raised for the sale of the ornament go to the parish’s building fund for the church and parish center. Individual ornaments may be purchased for $15 each, or a full set of eight ornaments featuring different church views can be purchased for $120.

Ornaments may be purchased from Greg Method, 1-435-901-2682, or on the web at: Gregmethod1@hotmail.com.
