SALT LAKE CITY — Steve Paul Anzures, 89, passed away March 31, 2012.

Anzures was born April 19, 1922 in Seboyeta, N.M. to Cleofes and Lupita Garcia Anzures. He married Margaret "June" Saban on May 5, 1946. He was a faithful member of the Catholic Church and a regular volunteer at the Midvale Senior Citizens Center. He served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army Air Corps.

Anzures is survived by his children ,Steven (Eileen) Anzures, Mary (Brent) Hogenson, Tom (Pam) Anzures, Maggie (Rocky) Buhler, John (Nila) Anzures, and Melissa Anzures; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A rosary was recited at Saint Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church.
