Support the Sept. 27 Hunger Action Month food drive

A food drive hosted by Utah Food Bank and supported by Catholic Community Services as part of Hunger Action Month will be held Saturday, Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Donate to help fight hunger Utah:

• 472,000 Utahns and 

• 1 in 5 children in Utah

will most likely miss a meal today because of lack of resources.

Catholic congregations are encouraged to join this statewide effort. Requested items are canned meats, peanut butter, canned vegetables and canned fruit. Nutritious items low in sodium and sugar are appreciated. Donations will be collected at the Walmart stores and community food pantries listed to the right.
