The Second Station, Jesus Carries His Cross, is found in St. Catherine of Siena Newman Center Church on the University of Utah campus. The ceramic stations, created by parishioner Sheila Chambers, with wood detail by parishioner Nate Nickerson, feature images of parishioners witnessing and participating in Jesus’ passion. Here, the Gilchrist family, Robert, Mary, John, and Brendan, stand by as Jesus begins the long journey to Calvary.
