SALT LAKE CITY — Tom Bracken, 59, died March 12, 2013. Bracken was born on Sept. 5, 1953. He tried to make it his personal best of the 20 marathons he actually raced, usually with his wife, Michiko, setting the pace. Tom thanks Dr. Carlisse, whose team gave him a second chance at life, and Dr. Neeraj Agarwal of the Huntsman Cancer Institute and his team of medicine providers who extended his life long enough to realize the dream of seeing his family again. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Olaf Catholic Church.
