SALT LAKE CITY — Troy Edward Waters, 68, passed away Dec. 20, 2013 from cancer. Waters was born April 17, 1945 to Edward and Ouida Parker Waters in Mobile, Ala. From age 12 to 18, he lived at the Catholic Boys Home in Mobile. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he served for four years during the Vietnam War. He also worked for Bean Dredging as a marine engineer. He married Karen Homer March 17, 1993. Together they own Karen’s Café on Historic 25th Street in Ogden. Waters is survived by Karen Waters, Hilliary (Brian) Sanders, four sisters, two brothers, and many step-children and grandchildren. A service was celebrated at Leavitt’s Mortuary Aultorest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the local Catholic Community Services.
