pleasant grove — Vera Marie Valero Harding, 92, passed away on Sept. 23, 2011. Harding was born on July 11, 1919 in Philadelphia Pa. to Rafael and Jessie Hamilton Valero. She met and married Oren L. Harding Sr. in 1942. She was a devoted member of Saint Peters Parish and was a volunteer with the MS Society. Harding is survived by three children: Oren (Constance) Harding Jr., Elisa (Williams) Butts, and Michael (Lycia) Harding; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Harding was preceded in death by husband Oren and brother Ralph Valero. A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Peter Catholic Church.
