SALT LAKE CITY — Virginia C. McGlone, 96, passed away on Aug. 17, 2011.

McGlone was born is Sioux City, Iowa, on Feb. 3, 1915, the first of five children. She was married in 1947.

McGlone was preceded in death by her three brothers, Dr. Robert E. Campbell, Col. John F. Campbell, and H. Dean Campbell, and her husband, F.J. "Joe" McGlone.

McGlone is survived by her three children, Mary Margaret Grady (Mike); Cecilia; Mike (Carol); sister Margaret Ann Campbell Colo.; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

A private funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church.
