Virginia Carolyn Muth Mash

SALT LAKE CITY — Virginia Mash (Amah), 79, passed away Jan. 20, 2015. 

Mash was born Nov. 18, 1925 in El Dorado, Kan. to Wilfrid H. and Helen Dunlap Muth. She graduated from Judge Memorial Catholic High School in 1943 and attended the University of Utah, where she was a member of the ΑΔΠ Sorority. She married Steve Mash Feb. 17, 1947 at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, where they remained devoted parishioners. She was a member of the Catholic Woman’s League and Alpine Country Club. 

Mash was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Mash. 

Mash is survived by children Steve Mash, Paul Mash and Catherine (Richard) Prehn; a granddaughter; three grandchildren; brother James (Ellen) Muth; extended family and many friends.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
