SALT LAKE CITY — Dr. Norman Finkelstein is not afraid of controversy. In fact, this Jewish son of Holocaust survivors, a professor of political science at DePaul University in Chicago, has placed himself right in the middle of one of the most divisive issues of the day – the wall the Israeli government is building to progressively isolate the Palestinian population from their homes, their farmlands, and their families.

SOUTH OGDEN — Helen VanHouten y Harry George, ambos ya en sus años 80, han formado parte de la Parroquia de La Santa Familia (Holy Family Parish) en South Ogden desde que la parroquia en ciernes fue separada de las Parroquias de San José (Saint Joseph) y Santa María (Saint Mary). Ellos recuerdan como al principio se reunían para celebrar la Misa en el Country Club Theater, después en la preparatoria Bountiful High School, y luego en el Alamo Storage Center. Las clases de educación religiosa de la parroquia se enseñaban en el sótano de la casa del entonces párroco Padre George Davich.
