Pilgrimage to the holy land of El Salvador

EL SALVADOR — For one week this past June I went on a pilgrimage to the "holy land" with several other people. This "holy land" south of the border, past Mexico way, is hardly a large spot on any map. Most Catholics would have a hard time finding El Salvador. Interesting that it is called "El Salvador."

CEDAR CITY — A host of people have been credited with the old show business adage, "Death is easy; comedy is hard." Was it Oscar Wilde, Edmund Kean, George Bernard Shaw, Peter O’Toole, Edmund Booth, Richard Burbage, or Edmund Gwenn on his deathbed? No one seems to know for sure, but the Utah Shakespearean Festival, in their 2007 season, can certainly attest to it.

SALT LAKE CITY — El nuevo complejo de Catholic Community Services, (CCS, Servicios a la Comunidad Católicos) con un área de 22.000 pies cuadrados, se localiza en el lado norte de la 300 Sur entre 700 y 800 Este en Salt Lake City en un entorno de árboles. Con edificios donados por Intermountain Health Care (IHC) y renovados con generosos donativos de individuos, corporaciones, e iglesias, el complejo ha reunido, por primera vez en varias décadas, a todos los ministerios de CCS en Salt Lake City en un solo lugar.
