SALT LAKE CITY —Para Angélica Rojas, el tiempo libre durante la preparatoria significaba estar involucrada en los clubs que ayudaban a otras personas. Su servicio comunitario le ayudó a ganarse una beca de la Fuerza aérea; ahora ella se encuentra cursando el segundo año de universidad para obtener un título en psicología. Recientemente se casó con un hombre enlistado en la Armada de los Estados Unidos y trabaja para una corte de justicia.

Thomas Wenski, Archbishop of Miami, was recently quoted in an Intermountain Catholic article regarding gay marriage stating, "Of course, as fair-minded citizens we do hold that no one should be denied a job or a house; no one should be subjected to harassment or bullying because of one’s apparent sexual orientation.
