Club de Rotarios Hispano-Latinos y la Fundación Club de Rotarios de Murray unen fuerzas para proveer juguetes, ropa para niņos

SALT LAKE CITY – El Rotary Club of Hispano-Latinos ( en Español: Club de Rotarios Hispano-Latinos) de Salt Lake City, en cooperación con Murray Rotary Club Foundation (en Español: Fundación Club de Rotarios de Murray), han iniciado su campaña del 2007 para recaudar juguetes, siendo muchos de los beneficiarios de esta campaña niños y familias que son clientes de los Ministerios de la Santa Cruz en Park City, Wendover, y Salt Lake City. El 8 de nov. pasado durante la reunión de la Clínica Hispana y del Club de Rotarios Hispano-Latinos de Salt Lake City, el Dr. Cesar Diaz, presidente del Club de Rotarios Hispano-Latinos de Salt Lake, puso en marcha la campaña, estableciendo fechas para las visitas a las escuelas e iglesias a donde los padres llevarán a sus hijos para saludar a Santa y recibir regalos de juguetes y ropa.

Scholte announced that the fiscal year ending July 30, 2007, saw Foundation investment returns reach a record high of 14.13 percent.

SALT LAKE CITY — The people of St. Ann Parish are used to the lilting Irish brogue of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate word. Members of the Houston-based religious order have served in the Diocese of Salt Lake City since they established what is now CHRISTUS St. Joseph Villa at the request of Bishop Duane G. Hunt in 1945. They have taught and led Kearns-St. Ann School and worked in pastoral ministry in the parish.

WEST VALLEY CITY — Father Raynato "Rene" Rodillas is taking up a fourth language, now that he’s been assigned to Sts. Peter and Paul Parish in West Valley City. In addition to his native Tagalog, spoken in the Philippines, Fr. Rene, a member of the international Congregation of the Divine Word Priests and Brothers, speaks German and English, and is now studying Spanish.
